Question:

Is this molestation?

when i was 4 some of the older kidds tricked me in to having oral with them and the person was10 then

Answers:

Unfortunately, this was indeed child sex abuse. It is a fairly common thing that occurs and adults tend to be none the wiser. While sexual exploration among children is also 'normal,' this should not be confused with molestation. I am a little confused as to if you are stating that multple children participated or just the 10 year old. But, I guess it really doesn't matter. What should be understood is that many children who experience abuse tend to enact that same abuse on other children that they deem weaker. Becoming predators themselves. While, those children difinitely disserve compassion, they also have to held responsible too. I am sure that the ten year old was well aware of what s/he was doing because I am willing to bet that this is every bit as much his/her secret as it is yours. Human development is actually quite interesting to observe. Children especially particpate in things that they don't know is 'wrong' but afterward, the lack of dicourse and publicizing of the events teach them right away that it is something bad that should remain a secret.

Older people tricking younger people isn't anything thing new but it is always sad when something that could be potentially destructive like sex is used as a medium to garner a laugh or some other form of pleasure. Some kids walk away from sexual abuse being forever altered/screwed up while others quickly develop the tools to adjust to the experince and live appearing to be largely unscathed by it. I've known both kinds.

However, if this is a matter that disturbes you, then tell your parents. This is really important if you still have contact with the culprit/s. I don't know what your age is but if you are old enough to seek a resolution without the aid of your parents, then feel free to address the guilty parties involved. Just know that the latter is likely to really stir up some really uncomfortable memories and feelings for the purpetraitor that will likely cause you to not get whatever answers you're looking for. While those persons, esp. the ten year old may have seen it as harmless fun and exploration and nerver did anything like it again, you still do have the right to clarify for him/her just what damage was done if any. I hope this helps. Best Wishes!
