Should I shave my legs?!

Question:

Should I shave my legs?

Okay, I am a 16, almost 17 year old boy. My legs are really hairy. And it's pretty gross and embarassing to talk about, but the hair on the backs of my upper legs is really long and all the way up to my ***. I'm really really self-conscious about it...? Help!

I shave "up front" and everything, but just like, not my *** and the back of my upper legs. And if I don't shave, should I just trim? And either way how do I shave back there without like eyes in the back of my head? And although I want the hair gone, I don't want it to keep coming back thicker and thicker, so will I have to shave it like every 3 days eventually???

And like, the upper back of my legs are like unproportionally hairier than the rest of my legs... :*(

I did that once and it turned out to be a mistake only because I did it in winter. I was about 22 at the time. Even with pants on the difference was unexpected. My legs were cold. I went through the same thing thinking my legs were too hairy. Turns out I was in better shape than a lot of guys because some of the guys had so little leg hair they looked like chicks, wished they had hairy legs, and a lot of women found it to be a real turn on, but it still made me unconfortable.

If you feel your legs are too hairy here's what you can do. Get yourself an electric hair clipper at wal-mart pharmacy section for under $10. The Sunbeam brand clipper comes with several guards that attach to the clipper and allow you to cut hair at certain lengths. It might take some effort but clip all the hair on your legs to a shorter level. You'd be surprised what a difference this can make in the general appearance. It worked for me. Also a good suntan and lightly bleaching the leg hair with lemon juice while tanning also helps to lessen the thick look. This all worked for me.

Complete shaving would be a real chore to keep up and would make the problem worse. Good luck.
