You're just a little behind the pace as far as development is concerned. You'll be shooting loads soon enough and you'll be looking back to the simple old days when you didn't shoot anything and didn't have any mess to worry about!! :-)
Hang in there, it'll happen. One thing you might try is holding off for a day or two and see if you shoot anything out. Other than that, don't worry about it.
