I have alot of flab around my midsection and I want to turn it in to rock hard abs. how can I do it?

I know the obvious answere is sit ups and other core training techniques, but do some of the supplements help, You heare alot about nitrotechs and N20's and Rippedfuels, and this and that, I just want to know what works better to amp um my metabolism and help gain some decent muscle
