It is a challenge to get a buff body, and you have take into account your own body type. If you are a bit skinny, the challenge will be for you to put on weight; muscle mass. If you are naturally a bit skinny, it will ideal for you to increase what you eat, and eat a lot of foods high in protein. It is also important for you to lift weights. You don't have to start off with a lot of heavy lifting; just start out with what you can lift without too much struggle, lifting about 5-10 reps before you get tired. You need to continue lifting, and increasing the weights, and alternating the types of lifting exercises. You also need to do what is called the "pyramid sets". It is what I just described; alternating by increasing the weights to the max what you can lift, and then backing down to your usual weight. I advise you to read Muscle and Fitness for specifics on this and lifting weights in general. Don't be put off by the dudes in the mag, nor should you try any supplements or steroids! Just natural foods high in protein, protein shakes. Also, it is very important you walk and/or jog to get your heart rate up, and your lungs working well to assist with oxygen delivery to your muscles. Water and milk are important. Not too much milk, though. There are plenty of weight lifting exercises that target specific muscles and areas of your body, and reading about them in muscle mags and elsewhere is helpful. I know I have said a lot, but just to say again, eat foods high in protein, drink water, milk, and lift weights, walk and jog. It is important to do abdominal exercises such as crunches or sit-ups. These are also important, not just for looks, but to help strengthen your body to assist in lifting heavier weights. Good luck, whether I have been help or not.
