Working out , why i am gaining weight?!

Question:

Working out , why i am gaining weight?

I have been working out for the past 4 weeks, doing cardio 3 times a week lifting weights 4 times a week. Eating healthy and drinking tons of water.

well i decided to weight myself yesterday after 4 weeks of working out and eating healthy. And i gain 5 pounds from where i was originally. Now , I know that muscle weights more than fat but when is the process am I supposed to be loosing weight, this is really frustrating and i dont want to give up but i dont see any pay off for my hard work. what should i do , or am I doing anything wrong?

Answers:

Muscle weighs more than fat, gaining weight is good. Just because you're gaining weight doesnt mean you arent losing fat. You're doing just fine.

When I was lifting weights on a regular basis, I gained 13 lbs of just muscle in 2-3 months.
