What is the possible cause of slight drop of semen when excreting faeces?!

Question:

What is the possible cause of slight drop of semen when excreting faeces?

At times when a friend is passing out hard faeces, he notices a little drop of semen coming out from his organ. He is worried and wants to know the cause.

Answers:

Anatomically, the rectum is immediately posterior to the prostate gland and associated seminal vesicles. The seminal vesicles produces and secrete semen to add to the sperm produced in the testicles. This is transported in a tube like structure termed the vas deferens.

The vas deferens is not completely flushed of semen after ejaculation. A bowel movement is produced by contraction of the large bowel increasing pressure within the colon. This also results in pressure exerted external to the bowel against the prostate gland, seminal vesicles and vas deferens. This can result in the expression of a small amount of semen during a bowel movement. This is especially true if constipation is present and the degree of pressure exerted to expel the feces is excessive.

I hope this answers your question.
