What possible reasons are there for a seemingly healthy adult male to have difficulty controlling his bowels?

Example: Simply standing at a bus stop and suddenly, without warning he poops and it's not diarrhea. This occurs every so often, not always. He doesn't drink alcohol and doesn't do drugs.
