Yes, weightlifting can cause hemmeroids. Believe it or not, heavy lifting can cause undo stess on the anus area, causing the veins in the area to rupture and engorge with blood, and the next thing you know you've got these bally things hanging out of your ***.
If your panicing, the best thing to do is to stop doing any type of squats. There by far and away the worst exercises for hemmorhoids, especially if your squatting and struggling with alot of weight. Switch to leg extention,leg curl, calf raise nautilus type stuff for awhile, and you'll see your roids hit the road.
