How often should i run to get in shape?!


Question:

How often should i run to get in shape?

I'm sixteen and about 170 and im 6 foot, i want to get into a better shape than i currently am in. I run 1.5 miles about every other day give or take a day and am wondering if i should run more to get into shape and if not how long will it take to see results?


Answers:

I would not run more often, but you could slowly build your miles. I only ran more than five miles a couple of times, just didn't feel I needed more distance than that. You do need to give your body that day between to rest.
