What brand do you have? The Norelco is very easy. You flip the top, turn the round thing and pull out the plastic older that supports each head.
Clean it out real good. replace the circular blades. It's easy! I do mine about once a year or until it doesn't cut very well. Sometimes I let it go for two years.
