Answers:
As said, it varies by person. Some guys look cut when erect, while others it slides a little but you can slide it back by pulling it yourself. There's no 'set' amount.
Mine goes halfway back by itself but I can pull the rest with my hand.
Either way, during sex and masturbation it'll slide up and down by itself to rub and stimulate the head. That's the gliding mechanism. =)
