Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

It made me anxious when she was away for 16 weeks. I was depressed most of that time. New Years Eve came and went and she was on the opposite side of the world... and I couldn't get through on the phones. I truly hated the experience and I wished I had cheated on her so that I didn't have to feel that way... I think I could have handled guilt a little better... just sort of block it out... it is a lot harder to block out depression, I think. Anyway.. that was 24 years ago and we haven't been apart for more than a few days since then... I hope I never have to be tested again.
