Should the foreskin retract all the way to the end of the penis or just a little!

Question:

Should the foreskin retract all the way to the end of the penis or just a little after the glands?

My foreskin only retracts a little after the glands. Is that normal?

Answers:

It should be able to retract all the way back so the entire glans (penis head) is exposed. The foreskin kind of then "rolls into" the shaft skin, so it can really only go so far back (and the frenulum keeps it tethered to the glans on the underside).

If you're having some problems retracting it so the entire glans is visible, you might have a mild case of phimosis. It's very easy to fix and just look at the links for some more info.
