Vasectomy Serious advice required?!

Question:

Vasectomy Serious advice required?

I'm a chap in my mid 30's, I have fathered two kids and my wife wants to come off the pill. She would like me to have vasectomy.

I have read all sorts of things on the net covering the procedure and possible side effects also some horror stories.

I want to ask any men out there who have had this procedure the following questions.

1. Do you still ejaculate?
2. Have you lost any sex drive?
3. Would you recommend it to a friend?

Answers:

i had a vas about 3 years ago despite what i was told there was very little pain. you will need to bring a athletic supporter and a pair of sweatpants. and my docter gave me the option of being awake or asleep. i chose to stay awake. and walked out 2 hours later with it done and a iced groin . rested for a day went to work on monday had it done friday.

1 yes you will still ejaculate and just as much as you did before no loss of fluid

2 no loss in sex drive actually it is better now can have sex anytime anywhere dont have to worry about getting wife pregnant

3 i have recommend it to a few friends. it is easy and quicker to get a vas then it is for a woman to get tubes tied

my doctor put me an vicoten for 10 days but i did not take if due to no real pain and keep gauze on hand my bleed quite a bit and make sure if your kids are younger and like to climb on you the know not to for a while that can cause aweful pain
only downside is the 6 weeks of no sex after then you need to masterbate about 6 times to get out any residual sperm then take a sample to doctor. then every year after it is advised to bring a sample to hospital to be tested there is a small chance the vas deferns can join back together and transfer sperm again
