My friend says that you can tell if someone is strong?!

My friend says that you can tell if someone is strong?
He said his trick to know if someone is strong is if you can see thier veins runnin down thier arms and legs, then they are harder to put up in a fight regardless of thier size.
Well first of all is this even close to being accurate, and second should I take his advise on this (fact?).
And no we dont go looking around for a fight at school.
Answers:
Being able to see the veins in someone's arms and legs could be several things.
It could be a sign of weakness in that the veins are bulging due to strain or poor blood pressure.
It could also be a sign of strength in that the blood vessels are well developed allowing for good blood flow to the muscles.
So I would say that this theory is largely bunk.
