i posted a question here about 3 days ago and after a while ppl stoped posting. I would like a few more answers to the question.heres the whole story: A week ago i walked in on my 10 year old bro masturbating and since then he has been avoiding me because he is embarassed. The thing is , I masturbate to and i know its normal but since hes only 10 he doesnt know that so i wanted to know what should i tell him about masturbation and what should i say to make him feel beter and want to talk to me(Im 13 and not good at talking about that stuff

Say,

"Lets talk for a min. I'm sorry I walked in on you while you were touching yourself",

say something like that in case he doesn't understand what the word masturbation means, Then tell him

"I"m sorry that I might have embarrassed you but I wanted you to know that it is a perfectly normal thing to do for people your age".

Don't say Kids his age, say people, because if he is doing this then HE no longer thinks he is a kid and you don't want to offend him and shut down your talk. Also stay away from "you" terms. It sounds accusing not help-full. Then say

"I started doing it at that age too."

This should relax him and open a trusting dialog between the two of you that could last for years.
