Can I change my body in 2 months?

I am so thin. I want to put on some weight. I also have a bad posture. Will 2 months of exercice do me any good?


Answers:

Absolutely, positively, YES! I used to very thin and I had worst than poor posture. I have multiple sclerosis and used to have a more than annoying drop foot as well as some weakness on my right side from my last relapse of the disease.

So I went into physical therapy and part of that therapy was strength training. As a result of strength training, I strengthened my upper back muscles so that my posture improved. I also strengthened my leg muscles, which helped a great deal with spasticity. And I did put on some weight because muscle is heavier and denser than fat. So I don't look at the scale anymore. Now I look at how I feel. Should you decide to start strength training, start out slow and don't push it or you could injure yourself. Form is more important than the amount of weight. Also, give yourself a good six weeks before seeing a measurable difference in muscle tone, although you will see some improvement after two weeks. Best of luck to you!
