Do i have penis rash/fungus?!

Do i have penis rash/fungus?

I am a healthy teenager, virgin, never had oral sex...I just went to the south for a vacation and I am uncircumsized...I washed my penis off and noticed a bright red ringlike rash around my tip of the head.
Do i need to seek medical attention?
I am a hypokondriak with anxiety so I'd really appreciate answers.

The rash could be a result from several things. It could be a fungal infection or you might have been masturbating too much/too roughly.

Here's what you should do before seeking medical attention. First cut back on masturbation, or just stop for an entire week (yeah it's annoying). Then basically leave it alone except for when you're washing it during a shower/bath. When you wash it, basically just retract (pull back) your foreskin and wash the area underneathe and around it with water and a mild (preferrably scentless) soap, as some strong/scented soaps can cause irritation and rashes. Then dry the area gently with a clean towel afterwards.

If you do all this and it doesn't go away or at least improve in a week, then it's time to see a doctor. At worst the doctor will give you an anti-fungal cream or oral antibiotic of some sort. Ignore any comments about getting circumcised, as that's really way too extreme a treatment for something like this. Oh, if you do suspect it's an infection and that first week hasn't been up yet, eat yogurt (pre-emptively) as that'll help against it.
