What makes mens' cologne so masculine?!

Question:

What makes mens' cologne so masculine?

like when yu inhale it, theres something in the colognes that hits u and makes u think 'yeah, thats men's cologne all right." what izzit?

Answers:

The ingredients in men's and womens cologne are barely the same. The only difference is the essential oils used as a base note, middle note and top note. They determine what scent should the cologne be. Most of the times men's colognre include woody or heavily aromatic essential oils which commonly are flowers
(ie lemongrass oil) that makes the scent strong while those of the female a more sweet and fruity scent like rose, melon etc..

What makes you think that a cologne is for men is the stereotype of society and culture. We have been exposed to the belief that sweet scented colognes should be for women and dark, woody aromas are for men just as we made a stereotype that cheerleading is exclusive or women and basketball is for men.
