I usually can lift 6-8 reps of 155 pounds. But I rested for about three days and when i got back on the bench I could only lift about 3 reps. Can anyoe try to tell me what happened?

Answers:

This can happen for a variety of reasons. The first thing you should ask yourself is did you get enough rest prior to your workout. If your body is not rested, you simply won't be a strong. Always strive for at least 8 hours sleep each and every night. Secondly, did you deviate from your diet at all? Even a small change in your diet will have a drastic effect on your workouts. Missing
even one meal will drastically decrease your strength levels and can totally destroy your workouts.
Always keep your meals consistent with the same level of nutrients for each and every meal, even on your days off. Thirdly, you might even be dehydrated. A slight level of dehydration will cut your strength levels in half. Most people don't think of this but water is what helps control muscle contraction in the body. Always keep your body hydrated. Your water intake should be:

- 2 glasses of water as soon as you get up;
- 2 glasses before you workout;
- 2 to 4 cups while working out;
- one glass with each meal;

Fourthly, you simply cannot workout when your body is sore. Even a slight soreness in the body constitutes a huge decrease in strength levels. Always workout when body is rested and fueled up with top notch nutrients.
