I am healthy, 6 feet, 35 and I weigh 550 pounds - if I continue gaining and stay!
Question:
I am healthy, 6 feet, 35 and I weigh 550 pounds - if I continue gaining and stay healthy is that OK?
My health is fine - passed a physical with my doctor who says that while my size is very morbidly obese, all my functions are OK for a 35 year old. I started gaining right after college when I started my new accounting job (sedentary) and married my wife who loves to cook and see me eat. I went from 250 to 400 in five years and by 30 I was 500 pounds. The last five years the gain is slower and at this rate I will be 600 at 40 and who knows after that. I love my size and am very happy with the way I am. I know many have a problem with me saying I am healthy and yet 350 poionds overweight. However, recognize that it was my choice. No one made me eat. I have always liked being large. I was a very fat junior and high school kid (over 450). I lost it in college so I would be sure and have a job (caved in to peer pressure). My accounting group accepts my size and likes how I contribute. I know getting larger will make it harder to move. As long as I can walk I will be fine.

Whatever works for you! I'm sick of people always getting on the case of large people. Mind your own business! I think it's wonderful that you're so happy with your size and don't want to change. Of course it's okay to continue gaining weight and staying healthy. Good luck! :D
