I am 16 and im a 5 ft 7. Will i continue to grow?!

Question:

I am 16 and im a 5 ft 7. Will i continue to grow?

I just visited the doctor and had my height checked. I grew 3.5 inches from last summer and my doctor said that i will grow another inch and a half before i am done growing. This cant be right because my oldest brother is 5 ft 11 and my other brother is 5 10. Although my dad is shorter now, close to 5 ft 10, he used to be 5 ft 11. I am a late bloomer and my brothers didnt really grow until end of high school into freshman year college. You think im going to continue to grow? Whatever i height i eventually grow to be, im still going to be happy with myself however im a little concerned at the moment.

my original doctor said i should be around the same height as my dad too, and he was 5 '11. i think she was following a curve based on my current growth rate. But since im a late bloomer i should continue to grow later on. Thanx for your comments btw.

Answers:

You should. Most men reach there height at 18-20 years of age. I'm not a Doc, but I have 6 older brothers and they grue until they were out of high school. They range from 7 ft 0 to 5 ft 10. The norm height for a man is 5 ft 8 to 5 ft 10. So it looks good for you to hit about 5 ft 9 to 5 ft 10. Good luck.
