How can i gain muscle mass?

where should i get my protein? tuna or beef?
Should i take supplements?


Answers:

Gainning muscle mass takes ALOT of work and time and commitment. However, since ur a guy it will come alittle bit easier. GNC sales some great protein and vitamins...u could take supplements but the protien&vitamins are a much healthier choice for ur body. I have afew guy friends that workout and they know how to build mucsle mass(luckily they taught me too). When u go to the gym make sure u know how to use each machince corrrect(ask the trainers for a session on how to use the machines...each gym offers one at membership signup). Start at the weight that is most comfortable for u....than u can add 5-10lbs every 2-3months. As u r lifting the weights remember to breath and do 3 reps ( 20 count, rest for 1min., 15 count, rest for 1min., and finally 12 count). After u do this w/ one machine rotate to the next...keep doing this nonstop(only resting for about 2 mins b/w each mahine...u want to keep ur heart rate up and steady to benfit from the workout) until for have done each machine 3 times. This will be a 2-3 hr workout if u do it at a nice and staedy pace. Dont rush!! Try bringing a friend so u can moiviate each other and cheak for each other( check means watching ur pace and catching the bar if u drop it on urself while lifting). One day should be resevred for the upper body(arms, back, chest etc.) than the next day the lower body(legs, claves, butt etc.) and than have a rest day(ur body needs this rest day to recover from ur workout) and than contiune doing this pattern. Abs should be done on day 1 and 2 but not on rest day. Drink pently of water and eat lean fish and lean meat(salmon, white chicken breast, turkey, tuna). Talk to ur doctor and maybe getting a trainer is a good idea( and a workout buddy). Good luck and be patience it takes time,commitment, work to look good.
