Penis problem . . .?!

Question:

Penis problem . . .?

Alright I'll get straight to it. I had surgery about 10 days ago on a left varicocelectomy, and they tied up veins from my left testicle. About 5 days after, without the pain, I was getting the usual erections with no intention of using it and everything was fine, cept for the incision pain which was normal.

Now at 10 days later, I got an erection and was beginning to get intimate with my g/f. Before we could go any further I noticed that a vein on the left side of my penis is popping out. It's about the width of a dime and its around the curve of the middle of the shaft.

I have never seen this before and it didn't quite hurt so much, but it was a bit uncomfortable and I was freaked out.

Does anyone know what this could possibly be? It may not even be the problem with the surgery (although I've been having problems ever since it, so I can't see how it's not), but any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Answers:

We don't have dimes here so I am a little dis-advantaged. You should have asked the doctor when you are able to have intercourse. If the vein wasnt popping out before the ops.. you need to report to the surgeon and get advice... especially if it was uncomfortable... which is not a normal feeling for a man's erection... they are meant to feel great, right? So your body is responding to a potential problem by sending you a warning. Listen to it and see your doctor.
