I know a man who had a VR after 15 years since his V. He and his wife got pregnant a year and a half after the VR. It CAN be successful. It depends upon your surgeon, how he heals up afterward, and then chances. I'd say the chance is pretty good but it may take some time. My partner had a VR last September 2006. We're still trying to have a baby. It was done a year and a half after his Vasectomy. Thankfully our insurance covered the costs. His surgery was successful based on the fact that his Semen Analysis' have come back better each time they were done. We just had a third SA done and we're waiting on the results. Hopefully things are even better now !! (keeping my fingers crossed!)

Good Luck to you and your partner!
