OK this needs more explanation.
I've just bought some amazing weighing scales from Salter. Apart from weight, they measure body fat, muscle mass, bone mass and water content.
Its reading 46% muscle mass for me at the moment, which seems high, though I am a triathlete. The manual doesn't give much information so I thought I would garner some other info. Does anyone know the 'normal' levels of muscle mass in percent and water percentage??

Answers:

There's no such a thing.

Human body is usually judged based on its fat content. Body builders are usually 5% body fat (the rest being muscles and bones), while average fitness people are 15-20%. Athletes are around 10% or so.
