Answers:

In general it's usually just a quick once-over including listening to your heart and lungs, checking your pulse, blood pressure, and weight/height, etc. They may take a blood test to check for diabetes or other problems. They will probably do a urine test to check for drugs. Depending on the job, they may check your back through X-rays to make sure that you don't have any back conditions that would prevent you from working. Basically they just want to know you're OK before they sign you up for medical benefits....the company doesn't want to pay for any problem you might have had before you started working for them.

Hope this helps!
