My Workout routine [Jay] Please critique?!


Question:

My Workout routine [Jay] Please critique?

i am not trying to gain mass, just gettint he ripped look
i prefer freeweights over machines

Monday
Chest:
incline, decline, flat bench press - 3 sets of 20-15
incline, decline, flat flys - 3 sets of 15
swimming- 1/2 hr

tuesday
Arms (shoulders, traps, forearms, triceps and Biceps)
Biceps curl (barbell) - 3 sets of 15
Shoulder shrugs ( barbell and dumbells) - 2 sets of 20
reverse curl (triceps) - 3sets of 15
reverse curl behind (forarms) - 3 sets of 15
swimming and some cardio (HIIT on treadmill)

Wednesday
Chest:
incline, decline, flat bench press - 3 sets of 20-15
incline, decline, flat flys - 3 sets of 15
swimming- 1/2 hr

Thursday
back
i am not sure of the excercise names..but i do work on my back with barbell and dumbells
cardio and swimming 45min

Friday
cardio 1/2 hr

Sat
swimming 1hr

Sun
swiming 1hr

Please let me know if i have my routine rite..or if i have to make any changes

By takin protine dosent the muscle mass grow????

i dont want to gain muscle mass....instead i drink lot of water


Answers:

you might want to stick a day or two of rest in there. your muscles need time to recover to grow properly. with out that rest period you will not get the gain that you are looking for. also you might start taking protien shakes to give your body the building blocks for muscle growth.
