Basketball weight traaining question?

for b ball next year i am trying to put on muscle while making it defined as possible not having the muscle that looks like fat so if i switch off of doing heavy weight low rep one week and low weight high rep another will i get any muscle and weight gains or no???

If you are doing heavy weight, low reps you can change up your routine. Alternate heavy, light, medium days. Your muscle gain will happen according to the amount of work you do. The amount of muscle or weight gain depends on your calories and exercise. You need to be sure you are getting enough protein after training. Do some plyometrics twice a week so you will develop the explosive muscles necessary to play.
