I think I have a tight foreskin please help me!!!!?!

Question:

I think I have a tight foreskin please help me!!!!?

Hi guys,
I have no problem retracting my foreskin when not erect but when it is erect it does not retract by itself. If i sort of roll the foreskin down gently it comes down but no further than just after it has retracted off the end of the head (sorry if my description sounds gross lol). If I try and pull it any further it starts to hurt the top of my foreskin slightly and makes the frenulum ( little piece of attatching skin ) stretch a bit so that hurts aswell. Do I have a tight foreskin and if so how bad is it please help what can I do. I AM NOT HAVING CIRCUMCISION!!!
Thanks a lot for your help, Drop Dead

Answers:

You said you are 15. This makes a significant difference.

"One may expect 50 percent of ten-year-old boys; 90 percent of 16-year-old boys; and 98-99 percent of 18 year-old males to have full retractable foreskin. " [ http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/ph... ]
It's possible you are perfectly fine. There is not really a need to worry until you reach 18.

If you were older than 18, "Topical steroid ointment is now the treatment of choice for phimosis, due to low morbidity, lack of pain or trauma, and low cost." [ http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/ph... ]
"Reports in the medical literature from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, France, Australia, Serbia, and the United States have demonstrated the efficacy of topical steroid ointment in the relief of preputial stenosis in boys. The application of steroid ointment to the foreskin has the effect of accelerating the normal growth and expansion of the foreskin that occurs over several years and which usually results in the spontaneous relief of the non-retractile condition. Narrow foreskins usually eventually widen without treatment.

The treatment is non-surgical. There is no trauma and no surgical risk. The treatment is inexpensive. The foreskin and all of its protective, erogenous, sensory, and sexual physiologic functions are preserved. A success rate in the range of 85-95 per cent is reported. Treatment of narrow non-retractile prepuce with topical steroid ointment is now recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics"

Alternatively, you may pulling the foreskin back to stretch it but not enough to cause pain. This will cause it to expand naturally over time.

See this forum regarding conservative treatment, especially stretching, of non-retractile foreskin: http://www.network54.com/forum/244184/...
