Best way to get rid of chaffing?

I just moved to an more humid climate and my job is real muggy. I have never had chaffing before, i used gold bond but it doesn't hold up all night,(i work at night) and i feel like a dog with fleas scratching.

My Mom always used plain corn starch. Since it always worked for us a children, I still use it as an adult.
