I had an event in my life that almost made me have to think up a way to prove that I had a vasectomy: I was inadvertently accused of being a father. There was an interesting chain of events that ended with my name on the child’s birth certificate. It turned out that I didn’t have to prove anything. I just had to sign some paper stating that I was not the father.
I looked, and could not find a scar. I only found only three possible options:
1. Schedule an appointment with a urologist, and ask for a sperm count.
2. Write to the clinic where you had it done, and get a copy of your medical record. I tried this, but they only keep them for 7 years, so I was out of luck.
3. Just don’t bother. Use condoms. Don’t buy the cheap ones made in India. Use the good name branded ones, they feel a lot better.
Oh, I just thought of another option. Do you still have the receipt?
