This Jerk was bothering me the other day and he kept pushing me then he had a bit of sharp metal in his hand from our previous Engineering lesson and lunged at me so i didnt hesitate and my karate came in to action and i knife handed his throat and gave him with all my might a groin kick which kinda lifted him up. he was shocked and was feeling sick. His parents came in because he claims he has problems now from this incident the other week. was i right and what should i do because theres no witnesses?

You need to just stick with exactly what happened.
Now.. just some thoughts from a disinterested party's perspective.... So you don't like this jerk or what? If not, what were you doing hanging around with him alone? Your problem is that he has an injury which could potentially be serious. My question is how is it that two students that obviously don't like each other can be given the opportunity to go at it at school. Seems to me you may have had the opportunity to avoid this perhaps if you had tried harder to.
A word of advice... if you are going to practice self defence and seriously injure people in the process ... never let yourself get in the situation where you have no witnesses.
