Do I have a problem with my prostrate gland?!

Question:

Do I have a problem with my prostrate gland?

I have heard that the prime reason for a prostrate gland is to produce sperm, so if I produce very little spem, then does it mean my prostrate gland is not working properly.

Answers:

First ----- the prostate gland does NOT produce sperm; sperm production occurs in the testicles.

Second ------ The prostate is the male orgasm center and is often called the male "G" spot. Sperm mixes with fluid from the prostate that allows them to continue to swim and for you to have a successful ejaculation.

Third ----- I am not sure how little SEMEN you are producing; "normal" volumes vary for males. If you think you have a problem, make an appointment with your doctor.

Prostate problems can occur later in age. To answer your question ------ A smaller volume of semen does not necessarily mean you have a prostate problem.
