I am a 37 yo man and would like to know What foods can be best used to help lose my pot belly?

I work ten hours a day as a landscaper and do a light workout at least five days a week at home, and am gaining muscle and definition in my arms and chest but can't seem to lose weight arojund my midsection. I have come to the conclusion that it must be my diet, and need some advice.

Fat around the middle for males & females is bad for the heart as you probably already know. If you were to go on the Atkin's Diet, with your doctor's approval, you would see a big difference in about four weeks, if you follow the plan to a "T" especially when it comes to beginning the first of four phases the diet consists of. The first phase, flushes all of the impurities (garbage) out of your body, once you begin to drink the water that your body needs to accomplish this, then once that's done, you can lose weight. You are an active person daily on the job, but each night, you need to get into a walking regimen. Increasing distance & speed will allow you to burn calories more efficiently, thus losing your belly. Trust me, it will work for you. If you choose to start this diet, get the paperback book "Atkin's Diet Revolution" & read up to Phase Two...reading further for the time being will be confusing. Begin the diet, be faithful to it, & you'll lose the belly. Bad carbs are what cause us to gain & when we put weight on around the middle, it's because our body is not metabolizing sugar & the weight ends up around the belly, thighs, or hips, etc., thus they become our problem areas. God luck to you if you decide to try the Atkin's plan to healthy eating. I lost 130 lbs. in just under a year on this diet, have kept it off, now I'm maintaining, & it's easy. :)
