Why do they make some guys lose their erection?

Lol- reading some of the answers made me think of my sister and her hubby many years ago when they were newly wed. They were a bit shy and naive- she even wanted a separate room on honeymoon so he wouldn't see her get undressed!! But one day she was telling me how disappointing her sex life was because everytime needed to put a condom on he would have to go to bathroom and by the time he got back he would have lost his erection and they would have to start over. I then had this mental picture of him running up and down the landing- (he's very Mr Beanish as it is)- they had an old terraced house with a very long landing- their bedroom one end and the bathroom the other- and they always had the burglar alarm on so he would have to run down the landing avoiding the contact points to avoid setting the alarm off.!!!
However, to answer your question my uncle always said wearing a condom is like having a bath with your socks on!
