HEIGHT - 5FT4
WEIGHT - 165

I am going to start cutting down on eating alot
walking a mile and back everyday
exerciseing
cardio
will i lose 30 pounds in the rest of the summer

Make a definite plan.
Do not be too harsh on food, just avoid rich foods like icecream, burgers, full cream milk, red meat, too many snacks etc. Increase vegetable and fruits as your food. You will get some information about your food plan in www.mypyramid.gov

Then, plan your exercise. It is better to join in a gym. If it is not possible to join a gym, start running instead of walking. Run slowly at first, it will give you pace to run for long time. Try to run for 60 minutes a day and continue other exercises you are doing.

It is difficult to comment how much weight you will lose. It depends on your personal dedication for your plan, your food habit and stickness to regular exercise.

Always imagine and visualise yourself that, you have become a perfect shape you desire. Think about your perfect shape. Think the advantages you would achieve if you lose your weight. Enjoy yourself in imagination. Also, stick to your foodplan and exercise. You will reach your destination.
