It is safe to use finasteride?
I am 21 years old and for the last 2 years i was having rapid hairloss. I went for a Dermatologist and he recommended me a tablet named Genesis which contain Finasteride USP 1 mg.And I have been taking it for 3 months and now my hair have been improved and the doctor said to continue this medicine but some people say that finasteride has adverse effects as it reduces the male hormone level and I won't be able to have babies in future as it will kill sperms,Now i want to know that is it safe to use this medicine for a long period as the Dermatologist said that u must have to continue it if u want to sop further hairloss,Please I need answer from doctors?
