Should i worry?!
Question:
Should i worry?
I have a 14 year old son, and one of his nipples on his chest is bigger than the other one. One the left nipple, it is thicker and hard and cannot be pushed in, and on the right nipple, is it not hard at all and can be pushed in.What is this a sign of? I am very concerned and worried!
Answers:
when boys go through puberty their hormones get all out of whack, this you know. What is growing there is actually breast tissue. It can develop right underneath the nipple on boys his age and can be painful. You shouldn't worry about it unless it doesn't go away in a year or so, because it's completely normal at this stage in life. In some very rare instances, pubescent teenage boys can even lactate, however that is VERY VERY rare.
If you're still worried, go see a doctor, but I'm sure he has nothing to worry about.
