No it's not bad, it's perfectly normal for men and women, even though some don't admit to it. Maybe you two should try doing it in front of one another, or doing it to one another, you would be surprised how much of a turn on it is.
Not only would you both find out what the other likes but also might actually have better sex with one another in the process. No I wouldn't feel the same way, it was just a shock to you is all, now that you know he does it ... just join him in the fun.
