Teared Frenum?

1 year ago i teared my frenum and everytime i pull my foreskin back it is painful.
what doctor should i see?
What are the options?
Has this happened to any of you? what did you do about it?

I think it happened to me once, a long time ago.

You probably didn't let it heal properly, as it's very easy to keep that as an open wound for a long time. What you should do is abstain from any sexual acitivity (i.e. masturbation/intercourse) for a week or two. Don't pull back or really move your foreskin around except during a shower/bath when you need to pull it back to clean the area underneathe. Make sure you gently dry the area after cleaning it, as that might help.

If it doesn't seem to heal in a week or two, you should see a doctor, pretty much any doctor might work though a urologist is best if you're really concerned. In some cases minor surgery might be necessary. Some people will say that a circumcision is preferrable, but that's overkill for a condition like this. There are other procedures such as a frenuloplasty and a frenectomy that should be considered instead.
