I need a urlogist or adoctor to answer this..my grand father is 81 years old and he had his prostrate removed?
he had an enlarged prostrate and since then he hasnt been able to pass urine,so he had a catheter to help him pass the urine but the urine is know going through the normal channels but each time the catheter is removed he gets blockages what can we do i need a second option and i can email u the results and u advise me on what to do thank u

The first thing you need to do is find out what the doc feels is causing the urinary retention. You forgot to post what is causing it. Until you post what is causing the retention so someone can help you there is no sense in getting a second opinion. Ask what the cause is and then REPOST your info and someone can help you.
