Lose beer belly fast(ish)?

hello, need to tone up and lose this beer belly i've had for a while, used to weigh 8 & half and now weigh 11 and half stone!? (which is much better trust me!) but with this new weight came the belly!!
now i can't run as i've got flat feet and dodgy knees, and currently my excersise routine is zero.....so any tips for low impact regimes would be helpful....

First and foremost, stop drinking quite so much beer.(Your body "burns" the alcohol in the beer for energy before it uses the fats and starches you've eaten for energy - which is why you've gained all that weight so quickly!) Then start walking down to the corner of your street and back to your house - slowly! Cut down on the amount of bread and other carbohydrates (potatoes; rice; pasta; potato chips!; pizza!) that you're eating. Drink less coffee and soft drinks and more water and fruit juices. Eat more vegetables and poultry - as long as it's not fried! Once you've lost a couple of stone, buy a bicycle or a stationary bike. Or get both - use the bike for sunny days when you can get outside and the stationary bike when you've had to be at the office late or when the weather's too bad to go outside.
You don't have to become a racing enthusiast to ride a bicycle - it's a lovely world out there! Slow down and discover it.
