Guys' opinion on this?!

Question:

Guys' opinion on this?

i know a friend who has a really awesome body with curves in all the right places and a flat tum...but she also has lots of white lines (stretchmarks?) all over her because she went through weight loss wen she was a teen...it doesn't seem to bother her abit, and she is always chased around by guys in college...infact she says her (equally hunky) bf finds it somewhat a turn on as they 'highlight' some of her best features, she told me he calls her 'baby tiger'...i think its sweet...and i really admire her confidence but i am still self concious abt mine and i really envy this couple (in a good way)...what do guys think abt this? could it really be a turn on? is confidence wat matters most?

Answers:

Beware of turning something that's a non-issue for "hims(s)" into an issue for both of you. Perhaps your friend has developed this "confidence" by learning that she doesn't NEED to worry about it. If it's "no big deal" to you, it won't be to us - - - within reason.

It sounds like your friend has learned that there's more to her than surface appearence (as should you). She's / they've made her marks a non-issue by turning them from a feature over which to obsess, into a "fun", "playfull" thing ... Of course, while having a partner who will do this for you would help; there's no reason you can't use this same tactic yourself when starting a relationship - - - "they're a roadmap for you to follow, baby ... now you won't need that GPS unit."

I suspect that women are critical of many things - most of all their own appearence. Guys don't want to have a magnifying glass in our hands when we're with you - we want you in our hands.

You won't be able to count the "little things" that guys will NEVER notice about your appearance that you're convinced would be as evident as if you had a large neon sign with a blinking arrow pointing it out, although guys would be fascinated with a guided tour of your best features - use low ambient lighting and a laser pointer.
