Im going to have knee surgery i have a few questions....?
im going to get orthoscopic knee surgery...can anyone give me the recovery time..how soon can i walk without support...the orthopedic surgeon said it would only take 30 min to an hour for the procedure...and from my regular doc. that i should be walking that day...seems strange to me is that true??

It's really a simple recovery. I don't know why your having this but from patients who have had it say usually the injury that caused it was worse than the surgery. Walking on it is the fastest road to recovery, if you baby it your only delaying the inevitable. Control your pain, take meds as prescribed and walking on it should be no biggy. Usually after day one you should be much less dependent on you crutch. Listen to your body and let your doc know what is up. He's not a mind reader and everyone heals uniquely.
