Wtf, Im only 27 and I lost an erection....3 times in 3 weeks?!

Question:

Wtf, Im only 27 and I lost an erection....3 times in 3 weeks?

Ok, This is the third time in as many weeks that Ive been messing around with a girl and then all of a sudden mid-intercourse, I lose it. The first time i put it to being drunk, but now I have a freaking phobia about it. At the beginning Im rock hard and its like pulsating, then all of a sudden its goes and I cant get it back. Its a really big ego slap. Im like scared to even mess around with any girl now...I dont want to even do it again because I dont want to have it happen again. The thing is, I still wake up with morning wood almost everyday so I dont get it. The first time has pretty much traumatized me....What can I do to forget about it? I really think its all mental but since the first time, it creeps back into my head and its all over. The only thing that hasnt been bad is the girls reaction. She keeps comming back for more but I dont want to be crappy in bed.
Side note, I found out my dad has brain cancer and i got laid off 3 weeks ago, can that stress effect me like that?

Answers:

More than likely your problem is psychological. Nothing is likley to be physically wrong with you. Unfortunately for men, once the problem happens, it has a negative feedback effect. Fear of losing (or not getting) an erection can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Anxiety over performance, a new partner, guilt, etc... can cause erections to subside. Sometimes, spontaneous sex where there is no waiting period can prove to be successful. Oral sex may not hurt either. Alcohol definitely is your enemy.
