My height never bothered me until i got into high school. it made sports more difficult for me and girls only think of me as like a little brother because of my height. I have a lot of pubes but no arm pit hair

Do not worry you are still growing until the age of 20. Wait till you are 16 or 17. Most short guys in my high school out grew me at this age. This is called the growth spurt. Also it depends on your parents or fathers height. If your father is 5'8 then most probably you will grow like 5'10.
By the way, the average height of an adult American is around 5'9 to 5'10. However every decade or so, Americans are growing taller. Probably by the next decade or so, the average height would be around 5'11 or 6'.
