Answers:
Studies, including new ones, have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity and pleasure for the guy. In addition, it makes masturbation more difficult (60%). Oddly enough, that's how circumcision was promoted in the USA back when it was brought over (thanks Dr. Kellogg in the 1800s...).
So up until now, we are the last remaining advanced nation that still circumcises a lot of newborns. But those rates are falling. In some states the rates are now as low as 14%.
