I work-out everyday. Is this safe?!


Question:

I work-out everyday. Is this safe?

I do 150 diamond push-ups, 120 dips, 45 dumbell arm curls with 25 pound dumbells, I work the traps delts triceps biceps abs everyday with 25 and 40 pound dumbells. Am I doing more harm then good? I rarely focus on my lower body, I only focus on my upper body. What is the future downfall of this.


Answers:

With that much work every day, you're probably not going to hurt yourself. You do need to let your body rest and heal though or you could hurt yourself. A lot of guys don't focus on their lower body because they don't think that a girl likes to see big powerful legs as much as say arms and chest. If you keep it up though, you're going to look extremely disproportioned. And girls like strong all over, not just beach body. Try to workout upper body one day, lower body the next and then break on the third day. That's the split I'm using right now (although I'm not using 40 lb. dumbells!) and it's working and giving me enough time for the soreness to go away before starting all over again.
